Lockable Chests Add-on

With the Lockable Chests Addon you will add new chests to the game, which only special access card holders will have access to.

The new chests that the Lockable Chests addon adds to the game will allow you to store any items without worrying about someone gaining access to them. That said, you’ll always be able to gear up or make a duplicate of the key so your friends can use the lockable chests as well.

As you may have already realized, the Lockable Chests mod has full multiplayer support. Which means you can create your own walkthrough maps, where players need to look for keys to open the chest and get the items needed to further traverse the location.

Lockable Chests add-on uses a regular chest, as well as 4 blocks of metal to make Lockable Chests. Once you have the new kind of containers in your hands, you can add any dye to it, thus assigning a color to the chest.

To open the chest and gain access to its contents – you will need to craft a key card. It must have the exact same color as the chest you want to open. To do that, add dye to the keycard.

If you are afraid that someone will just create a card of the right color and be able to open your chest, you can create a unique access module. This should then be applied to the chest you want to protect.
