World Animals Add-on

World Animals is probably the biggest animal add-on for Minecraft PE, adding to the game a huge variety of animals, predators, herbivores and inhabitants of water depths!

By installing this animal mod for Minecraft Pocket Edition, your game world will be completely different, because now, you will be able to meet new creatures in each biome. Most of the animals from World Animals mod can be tamed, allowing you to get a new companion, and some will be aggressive to your game character or other animals.

In any case, after installing this add-on, you will be able to see a completely different Minecraft, which will begin to live a life of its own, filled with a huge number of new mobs!

How to tame new animals?

The golden bone is a versatile item that you can use to tame most of the animals in the mod. You will need 8 gold nuggets and one bone to craft the gold bone. The recipe for crafting is shown below.

Elephants

There are 2 types of elephants in World Animals mod – Asian and African. You will be able to meet them in the savannah and jungle. Elephants feed on sugar blocks and use a gold bone to tame them. A tamed elephant can be used as a riding animal if you add a new saddle to it, also allowing you to store items.

Bears

Bears can be found in forest biomes, in this mod they also come in two variants and cannot be tamed. Bears are neutral towards the player, but if you attack, they will attack you back.

Lions

The king of beasts will reside in the savannah or jungle, as beasts are meant to do. All feline raptors in World Animals can be tamed using the golden bone and prefer to eat raw meat. By creating a special saddle, you can use them as a riding animal.

Red and white tigers will settle on flat biomes and live in small groups.

Crocodiles

These ravenous reptiles, impossible to tame, are now native to swamps and will attack the player as they approach. While crocodiles are not exceptionally fast on land, they are very fast in the water!

Reindeer

You can meet deer in all forest biomes with the World Animals mod in Minecraft PE. You won’t be able to tame them, but you can feed them to deer with apples, wheat, or golden carrots

Jerzy

Hedgehogs can become your pet if you find them in forest biomes and tame them with gold bone. For food, hedgehogs prefer apples, wheat, and golden carrots.

Hand-held hedgehogs can be crafted and donned a small hat, which makes them look even cuter. Despite their small size, hedgehogs are capable of protecting you from enemies and other animals!

Duckbills

There are two versions of this animal in the mod – a regular version and a special version, in the form of a character from the popular cartoon Perry the Duckbill. They are tame, can protect their master and eat all kinds of fish in the game. Oh yeah, you can put a hat on them too!

Giraffes

These extraordinarily tall animals will settle in the savannah and jungle, as soon as you install the Wild Animals mod. They are able to defend themselves from predators, and you will be able to tame them with the familiar gold bone. Wheat, apples, and golden carrots are good for food.

By crafting a giraffe saddle you’ll be able to ride them and travel around the game world. The saddle has cells for storing items.

Gorillas

As you have already realized, with the animal mod on Minecraft PE you no longer have to go to the zoo, because there are almost all animals, including gorillas! They are tame, eat bananas and watermelons, can do some commands and protect their master.

Varans

Waranas will be found in savannah and deserts, they are tame and eat all kinds of meat. They can follow the player, wait in place and fight other animals.

Seals

These cute and playful critters are able to move on land and swim indefinitely underwater without needing air. They are tame by goldbone and madly adore eating fresh fish.

Penguins

Once in the icy biomes, you’ll notice penguins immediately, as they’ll gather in packs to survive in the wild together. They are tame, able to follow and protect the player, and eat fish.

Rhinos

These massive animals can be an excellent choice if you require a pet with great strength. After taming a Rhinoceros in Minecraft Bedrock Edition you will be able to craft an armor that can be used to store items or ride it. Depending on the quality of the armor you equip, the rhinoceros’s characteristics will change.

Rhinos feed on apples, including golden apples, wheat, and golden carrots.

Zebras

This black-and-white wonder of the animal kingdom can be found roaming the jungle and savanna in the vast expanses of the game. At the moment, they are not tameable.

Ostriches

In Minecraft, these flightless birds will inhabit the savannah just like in real life. You will be able to tame them, put on a special saddle to move them around, as well as give them commands.

While hunting the ostriches, you can get the most delicate ostrich meat, which can be cooked and used for food. The ostriches themselves feed on wheat, apples and golden carrots.

Kiwi

Once you’ve encountered these little birds, you can feed them whatever seeds you have on hand.

Pelicans

Pelicans, in animal mod for Minecraft PE, will fly around the game world and hunt for fish near the oceans.

Goats

New inhabitants of the mountains – goats, can be useful in a farm, if you decide to create your own farm in the game, because they can give delicious and healthy milk.

Boars

Also new animals that will settle in the jungle and savanna. Boars, by their behavior, are similar to pigs. The only difference is they are aggressive towards the player.

Rats

As strange as it may seem, you can tame a rat in MCPE and make it your pet. Or you can try to hunt them to get some meat, which can be roasted on the fire or in the oven. As food, rats prefer cheese, which can be made from a bucket of milk.

In addition, rat meat can be used to make an unusual taco using the kraft recipe shown below.

If you decide to tame this animal, you will have the opportunity to put a chef’s hat on them and get a Ratatouille cartoon pet.

Sharks

Sharks are the new predatory inhabitants of the sea depths that live in the seas and oceans. There are 4 types of sharks in Wild Animals mod – blue, hammerhead, tiger and white. All of them will attack the player who swims too far.

If you defeat the shark in the battle, you’ll get its teeth, from which you can create a unique sword.

Orca

Another new mob in marine biomes. Like sharks, orcas are aggressive and instantly attack all living creatures nearby.

Crabs

As you travel along the shoreline, you’re sure to come across another animal that has never been seen in Minecraft Bedrock Edition – crabs. Mind you, despite their small size, they have the guts to attack you, but fighting off a new enemy will reward you with delicious crab meat.

Shrimp

Diving into the ocean, you will notice another new animal that is added with this mod – shrimp. Caught shrimp can simply be fried, or you can cook them in breaded wheat.

Clams

As you swim along the ocean floor, your eye may fall on small shells, and if you’re lucky, you may even be able to collect pearls from which you can craft a new sword.

Iguanas and turtles

Turtles and iguanas are two more types of new animals added with the World Animals mod. They are tame and will follow you to the end of the world!

Snakes

You will come across snakes in any biome. They like to bask in the sun, but often hide in the grass, which makes them quite dangerous. They instantly attack the player and apply a poison effect.

Capuchin monkeys

These small but nimble monkeys love bananas! Want to tame them? Treat them to a favorite treat!

Hyenas

Predatory animals that live in the savannah and are not trainable. If you try to tame them, you are guaranteed to get bitten!

Animal trainer

This new creature can be found at any location, and it will happily trade your pearls for its items.

New ore and crafting items

In addition to new animals, the World Animals mod adds two types of new ore to the game, from which you can craft armor, weapons, and tools. A full list of the new items crafting is shown below.
